The Power of Songs & Social Justice

| I believe now is the time to create a world of social justice for women and girls, the children, the working poor, the houseless, the voiceless, the abused, and the different.
Why is social justice important to me? Because I believe in meeting the challenges of extending liberty, equity, freedom, and justice for all. If we do not, everyone suffers, because as Martin Luther King said, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
If we want families, communities, countries, and a world that is committed to social justice for all, we must change our worldview, our thinking, and take different actions toward these issues. Payroll data from 130 organizations representing over 7100 HR employees has found that the overall gender pay gap between men and women in HR departments is at 15.1% with men earning £5379 more than women across all roles. Mentoring program aimed at diversity

| Presuming that African-American and Latino doctors will bring with them rich cultural knowledge and thereby improve patient care, OhioHealth is recruiting minority doctors early.
The hospital system is working with Ohio University's College of Osteopathic Medicine to pair first-year students with doctors who will mentor them throughout their education. OhioHealth owns Riverside and Dublin Methodist hospitals, Grant Medical Center and Doctors Hospital. Students accepted into the program receive $500 each year to cover expenses and, after graduation, are offered loan repayments of $10,000 a year for each year they participate in an OhioHealth residency...
